Payroll Specialist (7162JM)

Our Client is InSearch of a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team! This position performs all duties necessary to process weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multiple industries. The ideal candidate has good problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain focus and meet deadlines

Responsibilities and Duties

-Process existing client payrolls efficiently and accurately on a daily basis
-Process existing client data changes
-Respond to client payroll questions via phone and email
-Handle and distribute confidential information
-Administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
-Interact with clients and gather information as needed
-Assist customers with payroll inquiries and problem resolution

Qualifications and Skills

-Minimum of 3 years of current payroll experience preferred
-Exposure to multiple payroll software systems needed
-Excellent data entry skills, including 10-key
-Knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Outlook, Word and Excel
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Good problem solving skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain focus and meet deadlines
-Organized, dependable, and adaptable individual who is also a team player
